MEET THE PASTOR

Pastor Toney Crisler is a native of Crystal Springs, Mississippi, and the eldest of four siblings to the late Thomas E. Crisler and Flora Crisler. He accepted his call in the ministry under the leadership of R. D. Wells of the Good Hope Baptist Church in Crystal Springs, Ms., where he served as Minister of Music. He is the proud pastor of the Belmont Missionary Baptist Church in Raymond, MS. Pastor Crisler is involved with and leads several social and community groups.

He grew up in the Methodist faith under his father but was also very active in the Baptist faith, in which his mother was a member. He was a minister of music in these churches starting at 7 years old and continued this gift for over 35 years. Pastor Crisler graduated from Mississippi State University and is a product of the Reformed Theological Seminary. It’s so ironic that he grew up a Methodist, converted to a Baptist, attended a Presbyterian seminary, and pastors a Baptist church.

Pastor Crisler is the Community Relations Director for the Hinds County School District. He is married to the former Kimberly Drake. His most enjoyable passion is serving God in whatever way God requires and spending time with the lovely family that God has blessed him with. His motto is “I’m a servant of God and man; try me and see.
